2000 Minute Summer Challenge - Free Printable

Are your kids bored now that school's out?  Get them to learn something new or have them get better at something!  I've created a 2000 minute challenge worksheet for my kids.  Basically, they have to do something 100 times in 20 minute increments.  Very doable even for little ones.  And it has to be done before school starts again.  Heck, it's even great for adults who want to motivate themselves to hit a goal!

My etsy store has plenty of other fun printables that will help you manage your life.

Please leave a comment if you download this - I would love to see what the kids are learning this summer!

How to Use and Organize Your Lilly Pulitzer Agenda

How to organize your Lilly Pulitzer agenda

I love my Lilly Pulitzer agenda!  The one I have here is the jumbo size - it's perfect for me as a busy mom, business owner, and blogger.  I can easily organize everything I need to do for work as well as all the kids' activities and all of our family activities.  How do I organize it?  I love these Staedtler pens - they have a super fine 0.3mm tip and don't dry out easily.  I highlight with Sharpie's retractable markers and I love using washi tape throughout to block out dates for certain activities.

For a detailed look at what the whole agenda looks like - I have a blog post dedicated to an overview of the agendas.

Dates worth celebrating are all written down so I don't forget.

My monthly view is color coded so I can see what I need to do for who at a quick glance.

10 Amazing Homemade Body Scrubs

I love how easy it is to make a great body scrub.  Chances are, you have most of the ingredients needed to make an all natural scrub.  Sugar, salt, oil, essential oil, and herbs are what usually go into these scrubs.  Mix them all up, scoop it into a pretty container and it's ready to be used or gifted!

Places Traveled Wedding Anniversary Gift

Happy 12 Year Anniversary to my sweet husband!  We are pretty low key when it comes to gifts - we always prefer items handmade because it means more and it gets us to think of things to make for around $20.  With 3 kids under 8, we certainly don't need any more stuff in the house!  I came across this cute gift on Pinterest and decided to make one for my husband.

It was easy to make - I bought a frame, a world map, some scrapbook paper, glue, and a heart punch.   You could totally do this craft for under $20 by printing out your own map pictures and free handing the hearts if you don't have a heart punch handy.

I just used regular craft glue and a heart punch.

Glue scrapbook paper to the back of the matting.

Punch out hearts of the places you've visited.  Turn the punch upside down so you can see what you're punching out.

Glue the hearts onto the scrapbook paper and you're done!

It's always nice to have a clean and fresh smelling home. However, lots of household cleaners on the market are full of toxic fumes and ingredients that aren't safe for kids or pets...or even adults. Here are a few easy recipes for natural and safe cleaning products.
